This morning while searching for some components in my junk box, some old audio cassettes came out. In fact, I had a collection of around 200 rare cassettes in the 90s. Most of\u00a0 them are useless now.<\/p>\n<p>One of the cassettes that came\u00a0 out was a Jugalbandi recital from <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Mangalampalli_Balamuralikrishna\">Dr. Blamuralikrishna<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hariprasadchaurasia.com\/\">Pt.Hariprasad <strong><em>Chaurasia<\/em><\/strong><\/a> . \u00a0 I remembered the sweet mohanam\/bhoopali jugalbandi from the maestros \u00a0 and instantly decided to recover it and make Mp3s.\u00a0 My first problem was finding out a cassette player .After some search, I located an old Videocon cassette player.\u00a0 Its power supply was faulty.. I was able to play the cassette\u00a0 after 3 hours of hard labour.<\/p>\n<p>Audacity was used to grab the tracks and convert it to mp3. The music is very much mellifluous.\u00a0 Later ,\u00a0\u00a0 I searched\u00a0\u00a0 the Internet for\u00a0 details about the volume.\u00a0 It is\u00a0 is listed on<a href=\"http:\/\/www.musicindiaonline.com\/music\/jugalbandhi\/m\/album.9479\/\"> music india online.<\/a> You listen to it <a href=\"http:\/\/www.musicindiaonline.com\/music\/jugalbandhi\/m\/album.9479\/\">here.<\/a> I could not find any on line shops selling this particular volume.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>My summer vacation has just started and I am trying\u00a0 my hands on several things..
