While\u00a0 I was demonstrating openssh one of the participants logged on the my demo machine remotely and\u00a0 ejected the cdrom drive with <a href=\"http:\/\/ca.geocities.com\/jefftranter@rogers.com\/eject.html\">eject<\/a>. He then asked me how to close  the drive from command line. I said i don&#8217;t know. Today, I\u00a0 searched the net for a solution and found out that eject -t can close the cd drive. ( eject has a couple of other interesting options . RTFM eject)<\/p>\n<p> While searching for this information I landed on a funny project called <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.makezine.com\/archive\/2006\/08\/ubuntu_linux_controlled_diy_ca.html?CMP=OTC-0D6B48984890\">automatic cat feeder<\/a>.
